The Christmas Tag

 

Hey Lovelies! I have also I decided to do this lovely Christmas TAG today. I got this lovely tag from another blogger but tweaked it to my own. I would also really like you to comment on this post with any Christmassy posts you would like to see on the run up til Christmas! 

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

Real Tree! When I was a youngster I never remember getting a fake tree during Christmas I think my family and I just really enjoy the going out and picking a tree and then coming home and decorating it! Its actually one of my favorite parts of Christmas and In my opinion its not as fun taking a tree out of a box and trying to straighten out all the branches plus the fake tree just doesn't smell and I love the smell of a Christmas tree!

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

I will most likely be at Starbucks and if I am there I normally love the Peppermint Frap! I don't get coffee in my though I have recently discovered that when I drink coffee it gives me anxiety and triggers panic attacks! So I get sort of a Vanilla Bean Frap but in Peppermint version if that makes sense!(:

3.  What's your favourite color scheme for decorating the tree?

I like red and white. They're so pretty on the tree! I also love flickering lights too!

4.  Giving or receiving?

I love giving presents but anyone that says they don't enjoy receiving present is telling a lie!

 

5.  Christmas Movies you find yourself always choosing?

I can say there about 3 movies I grab the most when I'm getting ready for a Christmas movie night.

1. Snow (This is a TV Movie from 2004 on ABC Family)

2. Polar Express. Everybody must know this animated movie!

3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas ( who could forget this movie)

 

 

6.  What's your traditional Christmas Eve?

My Christmas Eve is actually pretty relaxed. My mom normally goes out that morning to grab dinner and I finish wrapping all the presents while watching one of the Christmas movies above of whatever seems to be on ABC Family. Then she comes home and by that time its like the afternoon and she and I start to make a Christmas Eve dinner. Dinner is normally ready around 4-6 it really just depends on if all the Christmas shopping is done and when family arrives. Then after dinner we all around 7 or 8 go to a Christmas Eve service at our church and we celebrate there and then we go home, eat dessert and then maybe watch a movie and then go to sleep. That's the basics!

 

7.  Christmas day fashion

Well most of the time we don't leave the house on Christmas Day so I would say PJ's all the way on most occasions but if we plan on doing something then I would go all out with the makeup and hair!

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?

I'm a huge fan of Christmas music! I love it so much I want to play it starting November I can't really pinpoint a favourite song I guess I would say if I absolutely had to choose it would be "All I Want for Christmas Is You"- Mariah Carey.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas tradition?

Oh there's actually so many! I love watching Christmas films and Christmas Eve Service at church but I would have to say probably since I was a youngster me and all my sisters would all sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve so when morning came no one would wakeup before the other and go see the tree. We made a pack that if one wakes up then all of us have to and that we all go down to see the Christmas tree together and be surprised at the same time!

10.  When do you open presents?

Presents from immediate family are always opened before Lunch. There is normally a few left to open after lunch for various people. When they are opened normally depend on what's going on throughout the day!
